82 | Parks Info: 402-471-0641 T his scenic area is located 3 miles east of Alexandria and encompasses 95 acres of parklands, including 43 acres of water. The modern campground offers Electric Plus, Electric and Basic campsites. Other facilities include picnic tables, shelters, drinking water, modern restrooms, playground, and a trailer dump-and- fill station. Alexandria SRA and nearby wildlife management areas offer four-season camping, fishing, bird and wildlife viewing. FISHING There are opportunities for largemouth bass, bluegill, channel catfish, crappie and carp. Sterling Morton's home, Arbor Lodge. The 38-acre area also offers Basic and Electric camping sites, drinking water, and restrooms. Arbor Lodge State Historical Park and Arbor Day Foundation's Lied Conference Center are nearby.
