OutdoorNebraska.gov | 61 T hese two recreation areas in northeastern Nebraska offer fun for anglers and campers. Both have picnic tables, fire grates, camping, water, and primitive restrooms. PELICAN POINT The area is located 4 miles east, 4 miles north and 1 mile east of Tekamah. It has 36 acres with boat ramp access to the Missouri River. The campground has two Basic pad sites. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Phone: 402-377-2011 Email: ngpc.summit.lake@nebraska.gov SUMMIT LAKE The area is located 3 miles west of Tekamah and includes 345 land acres and a 190-acre lake with boat ramps. The campground has Electric Plus, Electric and Basic camping. Facilities include a dump-and-fill station, two picnic shelters, a playground area, an unsupervised swimming beach, a fishing pier and a fish-cleaning station. FISHING Excellent fishing for largemouth bass, bluegill, crappie and channel catfish.
