44 | Parks Info: 402-471-0641 CHEYENNE SRA Cheyenne SRA is located at the Wood River exit on Interstate 80. The area includes a 14-acre lake and offers fishing, camping and picnicking. Campers will find 21 Electric Plus campsites, two Basic tent sites and a fill station. Other amenities include a modern restroom and drinking water. There is a gravel boat ramp. Boats are restricted to 5 mph/no wake. Picnicking options include picnic tables, grills and picnic shelters. Hunting is prohibited at Cheyenne SRA. FISHING Anglers will find bluegill, channel catfish, common carp, black crappie, and largemouth bass. Located at Exit 291 on Interstate 80 at Shelton, War Axe SRA makes a great stop for travelers. The area offers picnic tables, grills, shelters, Basic and Primitive camping, drinking water and a vault latrine. A gravel boat ramp is available. Boats are restricted to 5 mph/no wake. Hunting is not permitted at War Axe SRA. FISHING You can find bluegill, channel catfish, redear sunfish, walleye, yellow perch and smallmouth bass.
