DEMAND There are several ways to look at Nebraska's demand for outdoor recreation. Trends at the regional, state and national level can provide perspective. The public participation process for this update gathered information about current participation and development opportunities, along with information about youth and limited access groups. This information should be used as a starting point to understand what outdoor recreation projects might be appropriate for your community. To understand the unique outdoor recreation needs and preferences of your community, we encourage offering opportunities for local engagement.
