Demand What development does the community want? Priorities What outdoor recreation priorities are most important to the community? Funding Does the project align with a LWCF Focus Project or the focus of another funding opportunity? Resources What resources can help guide the process? Intentional Outdoor Recreation Planning SCORP helps those responsible for outdoor recreation to be intentional with planning and development. Each section within the plan provides valuable information to guide the process. The Intentional Planning infographic illustrates ways to use the different sections within the plan for outdoor recreation planning. SCORP allows for use of what is needed for outdoor recreation planning efforts, but all should be considered for a robust plan. Applying for LWCF? Look for the green triangle symbol throughout the plan. This indicates information that is significant for a LWCF grant application. See pages 10, 14, 15, 17, 18, 21, 22, 28, 29, 36, 40, 41, 43, 48, 52, and 53. = Contact the LWCF team with questions or a consultation to discuss a potential application, or for more information, visit OutdoorNebraska.gov and search "LWCF".
