2025–2030 SCORP 59 PEOPLE OF NEBRASKA Northeast Region The Northeast region is nearly as diverse as the Metro area and is home to just under 10% of Nebraskans. The state's highest proportion of Hispanic or Latino Nebraskans reside here. The state's largest population of American Indians and two Native American reservations are in the Northeast. Nearly 60% of the population is under 45, even though the percentage of people in the 60–74 age range has grown since the last SCORP.
