If you choose to have volunteers
assist with maintenance, document
their time and efforts. Create an easy
process for this by providing a form
or other avenue to track hours, labor,
and types of maintenance taking place.
Showcase their commitment through
recognition banquets, community
events, small thank-yous, and other
ways that are meaningful to them.
Share this information when writing
additional grants to develop more trails
or with the community to continue to
keep engagement and support for the
trail high.
