Northeast Region
The Northeast region is nearly as diverse as the
Metro area and is home to just under 10% of
Nebraskans. The state's highest proportion of
Hispanic or Latino Nebraskans reside here. The
state's largest population of American Indians and
the Santee, Winnebago and Omaha reservations
are in the Northeast. Nearly 60% of the population
is under 45, even though the percentage of people
in the 60–74 age range has grown since the last
SCORP.
