With all the cornonavirus “stuff”, I have not been able to spend any time meeting with any of Nebraska’s angler groups. I do not get around to every meeting for every group, but usually drop in on at least a few. However, this spring the Cornhusker Fly Fishers have done a couple of FaceBook Live meetings, and I was able to drop in on them.
Last week the topic of discussion was bass. Yes, specifically that would have been bass on the fly rod, BUT fishing is fishing. This is not a short video, but I thought it was a great “meeting”. I learned from it! Check it out.
It was embarrassing that my kitchen wall did not have any of the cool fishing “knick knacks” that Larry and Eric had on the walls behind them. Next time I might have to broadcast from my office.
Again let me say that joining a club is a great way to learn to be a better angler. It is also a great way to meet some great people and give back to the sport and resources. Find one and do it!
