Wrap Up, Midwest Walleye Challenge

You might remember that Nebraska was one of the state’s that participated in the Midwest Walleye Challenge this year, Walleye Challenge.

I have seen some summary information in a brief wrap up of this year’s challenge.  Going to share some of Nebraska’s data here:

Nebraska had the second-largest walleye entered in the entire contest, 30-inches.  A 31-incher from Ontario was the only fish larger!

Comparing catch rates for different states, the average of state catch rates was 0.29 walleye/angler hour.

Nebraska’s anglers and our walleye fishing represented very well!
