‘Tweener Time!

November 27, 2018 daryl bauer

You all know I love to fish, year-round, love it all.  I love to ice fish, but have to admit my fall was really good this year and I hate to see it come to an end (updates and pictures coming in other blog posts, soon).  Yes, I was still fishing open water this past week; yes, my son and I did really well, but I am thinking that may have been about the end of it for this year.

Each day my thoughts are turning more and more towards ice-fishing!

Jerry Kane in our Communications Division put together a great reminder on getting the gear ready for ice-fishing.  The time to do that would be NOW!  His story ran in the Lincoln Journal Star, so I am simply going to post a link here:  Preparations now can get anglers on ice sooner.

Take a minute, read the article, then take some of this “tweener” time, the time between liquid water and too thin to be safe, to get that gear ready.

It is coming, soon!
