The View guests enter Mahoney State Park free

April 5, 2022 Jerry Kane

Guests interested in dining at the aptly named The View at Mahoney can enjoy that experience without having to purchase a park entry permit during the month of April.

Located inside Peter Kiewit Lodge at Eugene T. Mahoney State Park, the restaurant offers family friendly dining options. The View also offers to-go purchases of pizza and wings, and caters as well.

“The restaurant offers a stellar view of the Platte River and is a great place for a night out, family get-togethers and overnight park guests alike,” said Jake Rodiek, superintendent of the park.

Guests are reminded that the permit waiver only applies for vehicle access directly to and from the restaurant. The entry permit requirement remains in place for access to other park locations and amenities.

For more information, call The View at Mahoney at 402-944-2882. For catering, call 402-417-9767 or email catering@theviewatmahoney.net.

Keep up-to-date with the restaurant, its hours and offerings at Facebook.com/TheViewAtMahoney.
