Unique arts and crafts will be on the market during the second annual Vendor Blender at Fort Robinson State Park on Saturday, June 11. More than 30 vendors have signed up to display their products at the Buffalo Barracks and Squad Room from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

The many items include essential oils, hand-made furniture and crafts, candy, beadwork, garden crafts, jewelry, photography, western art and décor, weight loss aids, and patriotic crafts. Also, many quilts that have been donated to Fort Robinson for use in the lodging rooms will be on display.

Deb Kennedy, a superintendent at Fort Robinson, said the park’s lodging is booked solid that weekend so the event is sure to get a lot of attention.

Although many of the spaces have already been reserved, there is an unlimited amount of space for vendors to set up outside the building. Vendors may reserve a space by contacting Fort Robinson at 308-665-2900 or ngpc.fort.robinson@nebraska.gov. The Facebook page “Fort Robinson Vendor Blender” also has information.

The event is open to the public free of charge, but vehicles entering Fort Robinson must have a Nebraska park entry permit. The permit is available online at outdoornebraska.org, at the park’s headquarters and vendors across the state.
