Rise Art

Sometimes you just need to pull over, put it in park, and de-stress for a little bit.  Of course the best way to do that is by spending time on the water.  Regrettably, some days a person cannot do that.

On days like that, when the next best thing will have to do, why not just take some time to watch some trout rising?!

The great thing about that video is that it is over an hour long!  Take as much time to watch as much as you want, but some days a person might need a lot of de-stressing!  The videography is fantastic and there ain’t nothing purdier than trout and the places where they live.

Let me also note that if you watch close you can learn a lot about trout biology, anatomy, predator/prey relationships, stream ecology, and a whole lot more!  Might even make you a better angler!

Along those lines:  The couple that produce those videos are trout/fly-fishing nerds.  Yes, they fish some exotic places where you may never get a chance to fish, but they flat out know what they are doing and you can learn a lot from them.  Makes no difference where you fish.  Check out their YouTube page, Jensenflyfishing.  Take it even further by checking out their website and educational materials, Jensenflyfishing.com.

Have a great weekend.  One way or another find a way to “lighten up,” hopefully on the water!
