Fishing 101

Got a basic fishing workshop coming up this week.  It will be held at the Outdoor Education Center on Superior Street here in Lincoln.  The workshop will be free, but space is available, the folks at the education center ask that you REGISTER.

The workshop is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.  Now, I could talk for two days on “Basic Fishing”, so I know now there will not be enough time to cover everything.  However, what I try to do in a “basic fishing” class is teach a fundamental approach to fishing, a way of thinking, a plan, that can be applied to any fishing for any species on any body of water.  As time allows we can talk about other fundamentals like basic equipment and some simple fishing knots too.  I try to keep my classes informal, I love answering questions and going whatever direction the participants would like to go.  So, if you come, make sure to come with questions, and never be afraid to ask them!

See you Thursday night!
