The “Zoom” Fisheries meetings we just held around the state are up on video. Some of you know that already, for the rest of you, that is why I am spreading the word!
I was going to embed all four of the videos, but that is too much embedding. Instead, follow the links, please.
Here is the one for the Southeast Region:
Southeast Region Fisheries Informational Meeting, 2022
Southwest Region:
Southwest Region Fisheries Informational Meeting, 2022
Northwest Region:
Northwest Region Fisheries Informational Meeting, 2022
And finally, Northeast:
Northeast Region Fisheries Informational Meeting, 2022
Lastly, I want to spread this “word” too:
Lake Mac walleye meeting is March 29
Anglers, are you interested in walleye fishing at Lake McConaughy?
We invite you to join us March 29 for a public informational meeting where Nebraska Game and Parks will discuss fisheries research, changes in stocking and angler surveys. Those attending in person can ask questions, be a part of discussion, and give feedback.
The meeting is at 7 p.m. Mountain time at the Lake McConaughy Visitor Center. Can’t make it? You also have the option to watch live via Zoom; you can access the Zoom link at our website.
Game and Parks’ recent meetings at the lake with anglers and concessionaires focused on the agency’s 2022 walleye plan for the lake. Plans include a nighttime creel survey during the walleye spawn, stocking walleye fry in addition to fingerlings, and continued evaluation of the walleye population and stocking strategies.
To learn more about these and other plans, please visit our website.
