LINCOLN – Organizers of the River Valley Artisans and Craft Market, set for Nov. 5-6 at Eugene T. Mahoney State Park, are seeking vendors to display and sell handmade arts and craft items.
This popular event, to be held at Peter Kiewit Lodge, offers vendors a unique opportunity to present their work to the public. Patrons can enjoy food at the Lodge Restaurant and start their holiday shopping with handmade gift options.
Art from a wide variety of mediums is welcome. Past vendors have showcased jewelry, pottery, homemade jams and jellies, yard art, small furniture, digital art and more.
“This will be a great event because it gives people of many skill levels the opportunity to come to Mahoney and display something that they have taken time, pride and joy in creating,” said Park Superintendent Zach Kelley.
Hours for the show are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 5 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 6. For booking and more information, contact the park at 402-944-2523 ext. 7327. A park entry permit is required.
