Arapahoe habitat tour to focus on cover crops

LINCOLN, Neb. – The public is invited to attend a free workshop on the use of cover crops Aug. 21 in Arapahoe.

Pheasants Forever, Quail Forever and the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission will host this habitat tour from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Ella Missing Community Center, 411 6th St.

The workshop will include topics such as grazing covers, soil health and financial assistance. There also will be a producer panel and field tour. Lunch is provided.
