Collaboration and Connection with Field Teams
Game and Parks' largest departments, Wildlife, Parks,
Fisheries, and Law Enforcement, have developed ways to
connect with their teammates who are spread across the
state. The Wildlife Division has implemented a one-hour
monthly Zoom meeting with each of their five districts so
teammates can better connect with leadership and program
specialists. The Parks Division hosts district meetings
for their team so they can identify needs and progress.
The Fisheries Division continuously communicates with
their district offices to listen to and respond to the team's
needs. Law Enforcement hosts district meetings with their
teammates to collaborate and conduct trainings.

"I love creating an experience
for visitors at the park to
spend time with friends,
family, or relax on their own
in the great outdoors. From
the natural beauty of the
landscape to the numerous
activities, there is something
for everyone to enjoy. I also
love creating a wonderful
foundation for our seasonal
staff who are experiencing
their first jobs, or this is their
fun retirement job."

Park Superintendent
