JENNY NGUYEN-WHEATLEY SUCCESS STORY OPPORTUNITY ACCESS CUSTOMER SERVICE INNOVATION Venture Park Projects In 2024, the $40.5 million Venture Park project was completed. This four-park complex includes Eugene T. Mahoney State Park, Platte River State Park, Louisville State Recreation Area, and Schramm Park State Recreation Area. Each park within the complex features five zones designed for imagination, education, discovery, serenity, and adventure. The project was designed to increase family-based recreational and educational opportunities that increase lodging, visitor numbers, and economic impacts to local tourism. This is the largest philanthropic effort Game and Parks has completed in one area. All of the Venture Parks have used the LWCF program to build quality outdoor recreation opportunities.
