Failure to do so is not an excuse. This publication is only a summary. To read Nebraska Game and Parks Commission regulations and orders, as well as statutes, visit: Regulations: http://outdoornebraska.gov/regulations/ Statutes: http://law.justia.com/codes/nebraska/2014/chapter-37/ 2 | Boating Safety Info: 402-471-5462 NEW FOR 2016 • An Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) Program has been created. Its goal, through education and other activities, is to prevent the introduction and spread of AIS in Nebraska. The program is funded by an Aquatic Invasive Species Fee collected from residents and nonresidents as follows: ▶ Residents: A $5 Aquatic Invasive Species Fee is added to three-year Nebraska boat registrations. See page 4. ▶ Nonresidents: Motorized watercraft registered outside of Nebraska are required to purchase and display a $15 annual Aquatic Invasive Species Stamp before launching from any Nebraska boat ramp. See page 15.
