ebraska Game and Parks tracks the success of the program, usage and the
likelihood of youth to hunt or fish after winning a permit.
"The half-price youth lifetime
permit drawing is a huge
success at both banquets, and
I cannot explain how excited
the kids and parents are when
their name is drawn. I would
again like to thank you and your
staff for offering this program
and being so generous with giving
me two permits for each event.
I have been a volunteer for
RMEF and DU for the past
10 years and a hunter safety
instructor for the past 12 years.
I can say that I have not seen
as much interest in the future
of Nebraska hunting as I have
seen in the past five years, as our
banquets are packed with kids
and our classes are over flowing
with students for Hunter
Education. Whatever is being
done to preserve this legacy,
it is working, so thanks again."
