10 | P a g e Brady Westbound Rest Area (Lincoln County) The Brady Westbound Rest Area has ample parking and would be a great location for westbound travelers to stop, relax and potentially spend some time fishing at the 5-acre sandpit. Improving angler access by clearing the brush and noxious weeds from the shoreline and adding an ADA-compliant access site would be a positive attraction for travelers. Currently, there is little to no angler access at this pond due to invasive phragmites although a concrete walking path is adjacent to the shoreline. Goals: Access Tasks: a. Improve angler access by clearing brush and development of ADA-compliant fishing structure. Ownership: Nebraska Department of Transportation Potential Partners: Nebraska Department of Transportation
