Nebraska Game and Parks Commission 49 • Schramm Education Center, which was awarded the Best Attraction in Sarpy County award from Sarpy County Tourism. • Outdoor Encounter exhibit, which earned the Nebraska State Fair "2024 Outstanding Programming Partner" award. Nebraska Game and Parks has provided outdoors programming at the fair since 2013 — free of charge to fair guests. Planning and running the exhibit takes a tremendous commitment from staff and volunteers to provide interactive educational activities. Customer service and excellence in communications Nebraska Game and Parks strives to provide excellent customer service. Our staff are responsive and helpful, serving the public in person at our district offi ces and service centers, over the phone and online. In 2024, our agency's website, OutdoorNebraska.gov, was rated among the best of all state fi sh and wildlife agencies for ease of use, access to information, Americans with Disabilities Act accessibility and mobile responsiveness. We also improved the customer purchase experience by introducing how-to videos, refi ning our frequently asked questions, and resolving technical issues on the GoOutdoorsNE.com site, ensuring a seamless permit- buying process. We take pride in informing and educating the public in as many ways possible — working with local newspapers and radio stations, appearing on local shows, hosting our own radio shows and podcasts, maintaining timely social media channels and newsletters. Our friendly staff are always eager to help and provide information on safe recreation and conservation. Waterfall at the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission's Outdoor Encounter exhibit at the Nebraska State Fair in Grand Island. This exhibit earned the "2024 Outstanding Programming Partner" award.
