Website improvements provide better experience
Having information about access and opportunity is important to Nebraskans and visitors.
Each year, more than 1 million people come to Game and Parks' website for information about
outdoor Nebraska. In 2023, the agency updated its primary website, OutdoorNebraska.gov, to
provide a better user experience. Changes included an enhanced search feature, new information
on parks amenities, a find-a-park tool, enriched information about game management and
additional educational resources of Nebraska's flora and fauna.
On the agency's sister site, NebraskaStateParks.ReserveAmerica.com, new GIS maps of each
campground were added. And the agency launched the first phase of its new online permitting
system, GoOutdoorsNE.com, which is working to provide a streamlined buying process for our
customers.
