two queen beds. The lodge also houses the
restaurant, where guests can dine with the scenic
Platte River as a backdrop, a gift shop and meeting
rooms. The restaurant can also cater meals for
groups and meetings.
GROUP AND CONFERENCE FACILITIES
This first-class park offers the perfect setting for
business retreats, weddings, and family reunions.
The Peter Kiewit Lodge meeting rooms have
wireless internet, video conferencing services and
satellite television.
In addition, the Crete Carrier Riverview Group
Lodge and open air pavilion can handle larger
group retreats, weddings, seminars and family
reunions. The nearby observation tower offers
a panoramic view of the surrounding area. Picnic
shelters also may be reserved.
RESTAURANT
The restaurant at Eugene T. Mahoney State Park's
Peter Kiewit Lodge provides a variety of delicious
items. The restaurant provides diners with
picturesque views of the Platte River Valley. In
addition, the full-service bar serves a selection
of beer and wine. Contact the park for operational
hours and menu.
CAMPING
There are two camping areas located near Owen
Marina with a total of 149 hard-surfaced pads
equipped with Full Hookup, Electric Plus and
Electric campsites. Reservations are accepted for
designated sites. Showers, restrooms and water
hydrants are conveniently located, and there is a
laundry room at the Little Creek campground area.
Water and a dump-and-fill station are situated
near the park entrance.
FISHING
There is excellent fishing access at both Century
Link and Baright lakes. Rainbow trout (seasonally),
channel catfish, largemouth bass, bluegill and
crappie are available.
