Habitat:

Requires cold, well-oxygenated water; can't survive in extended periods in water temperatures over 70
degrees. Can survive year-round in the cold water streams of western and north-central Nebraska.
Range:
•
Statewide. Stocked in many lakes and city ponds annually.
