OutdoorNebraska.org | 31 ANTELOPE PREFERENCE POINTS • Any resident who properly applies for and is denied a firearm or muzzleloader antelope permit will receive one preference point for each unsuccessful year. Nonresident landowners gain 0.9 preference points. • Accumulated points shall be used to determine priority in the permit drawing. • In buddy applications, priority will be given based on the lower number of points possessed by either applicant. • Any person issued a firearm or muzzleloader buck or either-sex permit shall lose all preference points. • Purchasing archery or antlerless permits will not cause a loss of preference points. • Antlerless permits are issued on a first-come basis to residents and nonresidents.
