CONNECT THE DOTS Start with number one (1) at the tip of the bird's beak. Continue connecting the dots in numerical order. After you have connected all the dots, color the bird with robin's breast orange: head and neck; black: stripes on shoulders, back and tail; gray-blue: legs. Leave the body and circle around the eye white. This shorebird nests and feeds during summer at ponds and lakes in central and western Nebraska. It is an AM__ RI__ __ N AV__ __ E __ .
