Open early January through late February for ice-fishing; no more than two lines with two hooks per line can be used, including ice-fishing. Open April 15 - Oct. 14 for open-water fishing. Open a half-hour before sunrise to a half-hour after sunset. BLG, BUF, CAP, CCF, CRP, LMB, WAE, WHB Northeast Region District Office Norfolk 402-370-3374 The Northeast Fisheries District encompasses the most counties at 25 and is bordered by the Missouri River on the east and part of the north. It is the second-most populated district at 13% of the state's population (259,601). The district contains 112 public water bodies encompassing 41,235 surface acres of water.
