Spring – Hunters must use archery equipment March 25 – April 13 and may use either archery equipment
or a shotgun April 14 – May 31. Youth hunters must use archery equipment March 25 – April 6 and may use
either archery equipment or a shotgun April 7 – May 31.
Fall – Hunters may use either archery equipment or a shotgun.

HUNTING TURKEYS AND BAITING
A baited area may not be established from 10 days before the opening of any big game
or turkey season and throughout those entire seasons for the purposes of taking big
game or turkey. An area within 200 yards of bait is considered baited and to hunt within
that area is prohibited. To be legal, both the hunter and the animal must be outside a baited area.
