Peter Kiewit Lodge is the jewel of the park. With an indoor restaurant and 40 guest rooms available year-round – many with a stunning view of the Platte River – the Lodge is a popular place to relax and escape. Rooms come equipped with two queen beds, a minifridge, microwave and coffeepot, free wireless Internet, satellite television, telephone and private bath. Sixteen rooms have sleeping los with electric fireplaces, and 24 have walk-out decks overlooking either the park or the Platte River. Year-round camping is available at Mahoney State Park, with 149 spacious, hard-surfaced pads situated amid mature shade trees. All sites have 30- or 50-amp electrical hookups. Tent camping is available and is located in the two modern campgrounds. ere are five full-service sites available. Camping reservations may be made one year in advance of arrival. Campers may make reservations up to three days prior to their arrival date. Half of the campground is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Not all services may be available in the off-season and discount rates may apply. Drinking water and modern shower/latrine buildings are conveniently located in each campground. A coin- operated laundry is located in the shower building in the Little Creek Campground.
