10 Nebraska Game and Parks Commission • 2016 Annual Report I M P L E M E N T A T I O N O F A Q U A T I C I N V A S I V E S P E C I E S P R O G R A M The Nebraska Aquatic Invasive Species Program was created in 2015 by the Legislature. Income from resident boat registrations and nonresident boat stamps has generated $187,741 as of October 2016, which is to be used for aquatic invasive species efforts including inspections, sampling, and management efforts.
