OutdoorNebraska.org | 7 The following new regulations are valid starting Jan. 1, 2016: Black Bass – The following state recreation areas (SRAs), wildlife management areas (WMAs) and lakes and ponds are removed from the list of water bodies regulated with a 21-inch minimum length limit and now are managed with the statewide 15-inch minimum length limit: Heartwell Park Lake Tilden City Pond Laing Lake David City Park Ponds Plattsmouth City Lake Weeping Water Pond Sutton Clark Pond Ansley City Lake Crystal Cove Lake Big Springs City Pond Curtis Golf Course Pond Hooper City Lake Johnson Park Lake Oxford City Lake Wolbach City Pond Cornhusker WMA Eagle Scout Lake Such's Lake Pier Lake Tecumseh City Pond Bethphage Pond Humphrey Pond Merganser Lake Birdwood Lake WMA Skyview Lake Ta-Ha-Zouka Park Pond Bader Memorial Park Pits Central City Lake Silver Creek City Lake Lincoln Park Pond Pawnee Prairie WMA Sacramento-Wilcox WMA Columbus Hospital Pond Barnett Park Memphis Lake SRA Auble Pond Indian Creek Pond WMA Henderson Park York Recharge Lake The following lakes are added to the list of those managed with a 21-inch minimum length limit: Fort Kearny SRA Sandy Channel SRA Windmill SRA Bowling Lake Pawnee Lake SRA/WMA Bowman Lake Prairie Queen Walleye, Sauger and Saugeye – The following water bodies are managed under the statewide 15-inch minimum length limit, with no more than one sh 22 inches or longer: Big Indian 11A Buffalo Creek Reservoir Burchard Lake Czechland Lake Glenn Cunningham Lake Holmes Lake Iron Horse Trail Lake Lake Wanahoo SRA Lawrence Youngman Lake Lone Star Meadowlark Lake Olive Creek Lake SRA Pawnee Lake SRA Prairie Queen Red Cedar Lake Skyview Lake Stagecoach Lake SRA Standing Bear Lake Walnut Creek Reservoir Wehrspann Lake Wildwood Lake WMA Willard Meyer Yankee Hill Lake WMA Zorinsky Lake Calamus Reservoir is regulated with a daily bag limit that can contain two sh 15 to 18 inches and two over 18 inches, with no more than one 22 inches or longer. Northern Pike – The daily bag limit is increased to 10 at Lake Minatare. Pansh – The daily bag limit on the border water shared with South Dakota, which includes Lewis and Clark Lake, Lake Yankton and the Missouri River, is 15 on each species rather than the statewide 15 in the aggregate. Yellow Perch – Rat and Beaver Lake is regulated with a 12-inch minimum length limit. Bullheads – The special daily bag limit on Fremont, Louisville and Two Rivers SRAs is eliminated to follow the statewide regulations of no limit. Archery Paddlesh – The archery paddlesh season is moved up and will be held during the entire month of June. Transportation and Possession – Black carp, silver carp, bighead carp, grass carp and yellow bass have been added to the list of species that may not be transported away from any water body alive. No Live Baitsh Water Bodies – Lake Helen was added to the list where it is illegal to possess or use live baitsh. Set and Limb Lines – It is now required that these shing lines be checked every 24 hours and that all unused lines must be removed. NEW FOR 2016
