lOuisVille state reCreatiON area Situated on the south bank of the Platte River, Louisville SRA is an ideal spot for camping and water enthusiasts. There are 223 electrical camping pads, 13 camping pads without electricity and 47 primitive camping sites. This SRA also offers five fantastic sandpit lakes for visitors to fish, boat and swim. Top-notch picnic facilities and playground equipment are available as well. Visitors to Louisville SRA can find their way back to the sand and water. Enhancements will provide additional water-based activities in the lakes and take advantage of the Platte River. Focus will be given to the lakes and especially the River.
