4 | Big Game Info: 402-471-0641 New for 2025 Deer River Antlerless – The boundary for the River Antlerless permit has been reduced considerably. Look closely at the unit description to make sure the area you hunt is still included. The permit quota has been reduced accordingly and likely will sell out even earlier than in 2024. Permit Quotas – There were minor adjustments to deer permit quotas and bag limits. See the deer permit tables for the 2025 quotas and bag limits. Nonresident Permit Limits – There are no changes for nonresident permit limits, draw status and quotas. Elk Unit 13 – Unit 13 is split into Unit 131 and Unit 132 for management and permit distribution purposes. See the Elk Management Unit Map and permit tables for details. Permit Quotas – There are minor adjustments in permit quotas. See the Elk permit tables for details. Antelope Permit Quotas – There are minor adjustments in permit quotas. See the Antelope permit table for details. Mandatory Harvest Reporting Elk and Antelope – All harvested elk and antelope must be checked in via Telecheck. Scan the QR code on your permit, visit our website or call the number listed on your permit to begin the Telecheck process. Deer – All harvested deer must be checked in. During the November Firearm season hunters can either Telecheck their deer or take it to a check station. All deer harvested outside the November Firearm season must be checked in via Telecheck.
