Nebraska Game and Parks Commission 23 Fisheries management Nebraska Game and Parks' fi sh stocking program, supported by fi ve hatcheries, continued to fulfi ll its role of supplying millions of fi sh for anglers and improving aquatic ecosystems statewide. We also completed several major habitat restoration projects, improved angler access, and took proactive measures that successfully prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species. Stocking fi sh across Nebraska Nebraska Game and Parks' enhanced stocking program for lakes and rivers bolsters fi sh populations, providing both experienced anglers and beginners the chance to enjoy fruitful fi shing outings year-round. Incredible fi shing is possible thanks to Nebraska's fi ve fi sh hatcheries, which grew and made available for stocking more than 55 million fi sh in 2024; the end result was more than 22 species placed in nearly 270 water bodies statewide.
