Camping. Fishing deck. Rainbow Trout stocked seasonally. Located on the Nebraska National Forest at Halsey. Features: FF BLG, CCF, LMB, RBT, TGT Big Alkali WMA Cherry (15) Details: 842 acres. Boat ramp, camping, fish-cleaning station, restroom. BLG, CAP, CCF, CRP, LMB, NOP, SAE, WAE, YEP Blue Lake (FWS) Garden (7) Special Regulations: Panfish - Daily bag limit of 15 shall include only one Bluegill 9 inches or greater in length and only five Yellow Perch 10 inches or greater in length, and of those only one Yellow Perch 12 inches or greater in length. Details: 311 acres. Boats restricted to 5 mph (no wake). Small boats recommended. Primitive boat launch. Access via primitive 2.7-mile access trail on private property (no snow removal); open daylight hours only; no camping, hunting, ATVs, horses, fires, or littering; only four-wheel drive vehicles allowed. Area closed to access during the nine-day November firearm deer season. Access to lake made possible through lease agreement with private landowner, so please follow the rules. Close all gates. BLG, LMB, YEP Box Butte Reservoir SRA/ WMA Dawes (6) Special Regulations: Northern Pike – Daily bag limit of 10 with no more than three fish over 22 inches and only one of those 34 inches or greater. Underwater spearfishing for game fish species allowed June 1 - Dec. 31. Details: 1,600 acres. AIS infested water body - Eurasian Watermilfoil, Brittle Naiad, and Curly-leaf Pondweed present. Subject to severe summer drawdown. Primitive camping and electrical hookups. Two-lane boat ramp. Features: SF BCF, BLG, CCF, CRP, LMB, NOP, PMK, ROB, SMB, WAE, YEP Bridgeport City Pond Morrill (3) Details: 1.25 acres. Special city regulations. Renovated in 2023.
