Additional input will be sought in 2024 through online surveys. Questions will seek to answer

wildlife education, and collaborate with the outdoor recreation industry.
The current plan addresses conservation of Nebraska's 735 at-risk species by prioritizing
conservation of Biologically Unique Landscapes: unique habitats where the largest number of
at-risk species reside. The plan also outlines ways to:
•
reverse the decline of at-risk flora and fauna,
•
recover species currently listed as state or federally protected,
•
keep common species common, and
•
conserve natural communities.
A draft of the updated document will be available for public comment in the spring of 2025.
