this northeastern Nebraska area sits at the
confluence of the Niobrara and Missouri rivers.
The 1,260-acre park offers 20 modern cabins
(two and three bedrooms) and the Eagle View
group conference facility. The campground has
Electric Plus, Electric and Basic camping, modern
restrooms, showers and a dump-and-fill station.
Other park facilities include Basic tent camping
sites, Adirondack shelters, horseback trail rides,
a swimming pool, buffalo cookouts, nearby boat
access to the Missouri River, picnic shelters,
hiking and a picturesque interpretive shelter on
the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail. The
park also offers hiking trails with river views and
a 2.1-mile hike/bike trail that follows the northern
boundary of the park.
FISHING
Besides access to the Missouri and Niobrara
rivers, there is a pond stocked with largemouth
bass, bluegill and channel catfish. Rainbow trout
are stocked in the pond in the fall and early spring.
