LODGING
Platte River State Park provides an array of
accommodations, with the most unique being the
three new glamping cabins that offer a peaceful,
private and nature-immersive experience in a
modern cabin. Each sleeps two in a queen bed,
which can roll onto the deck, where visitors
can sleep under the stars. Glamping cabins are
equipped with a modern bathroom and shower,
kitchenette and eating utensils. They are open
year-round and have heat and air conditioning.
There are also 21 modern, fully-equipped, one
to four-bedroom modern cabins, which have
bathroom and shower, kitchens with eating and
cooking utensils. Four have fireplaces. The modern
cabins are open year-round with heat and air
conditioning. The affordable camper-cabins are
arranged in pods with four to six cabins sharing
showers, restrooms, water and washing facilities.
They are furnished with refrigerators, bed linens,
towels and soap. Most have air conditioning and
heat. Visitors here can even stay in a tipi village.
Camper cabin and tipi guests should bring their
own cooking and eating utensils. Fire grates are
provided. Tipi guests will need sleeping bag or
bedding, towels, soap, ice chests and the like.
