Wildlife Conservation Fund License Plates
Show your pride and support for Nebraska's amazing wildlife with a spectacular
Wildlife Conservation Fund license plate. The license plates help fund research
and conservation efforts for at-risk species. There are three designs to
choose from that directly support the Wildlife Conservation Fund: a Bighorn
Sheep ram, a Sandhill Crane, and the state reptile the Ornate Box Turtle.
The revenue from the license plates funds many projects from research and
monitoring species of greatest conservation need like the Blanding's Turtle,
to projects that help to improve wildlife appreciation through observation
experiences in the state like the Watchable Wildlife Small Grants and the
upcoming Nebraska Birding Guide website.
To purchase these plates, visit dmv.nebraska.gov/services or your nearby
state DMV to place an order. After ordering your Wildlife Conservation Fund
license plate, you will receive a letter via email or mail with the date your license
plate will be available at your county treasurer's office. The most difficult parts are
deciding which plate to get and then eagerly waiting for your new wildlife license
