2021-109317 MS 9/21 ABOUT THE STUBBLE ACCESS GUIDE Tall wheat or milo stubble fields and adjacent habitats are enrolled in the Open Fields and Waters (OFW) program following harvest each year to ensure quality cover is provided. Consequently, they cannot be included in the printed version of the Public Access Atlas. The Stubble Access Guide displays these recently enrolled sites, as well as other publicly accessible lands, in portions of western Nebraska where small grains are most prevalent (see map below). Properties labeled as "OFW Tall Stubble" (illustrated in light purple) consist of tall wheat or milo stubble fields and are open to walk-in hunting and trapping. This guide is valid through January 31, 2022 and after this date refer to the printed or online versions of the Public Access Atlas.
