Increase hunter education and outreach efforts to create more safe and responsible hunters and conservationists. Recruit hunters who will stand for our outdoor pursuits. Nebraska: Saving the Habitat Conserve or enhance 50,000 total acres of vital nesting, brood-rearing, roosting and loafing habitat for wild turkeys. Conserve or enhance 12,500 acres of grassland habitat, 15,000 acres of critical streamside areas and 22,500 acres of forested habitat.
