Private access, permission required. Vehicle access difficult, most areas accessible by long hike. Frye Lake WMA: Grant County, 243 acres, 1N, 1½E of Hyannis. BLG, CCF, CRP, LMB, WAE, YEP. No live baitfish may be used or possessed. Boats restricted to 5 mph (no wake). Snowmobiles and ATVs allowed on ice. Map 10 Gilbert-Baker WMA Pond: Sioux County, 2 acres, 10N of Harrison. BLG, LMB, RBT, ROB, YEP. Located on E portion of Gilbert-Baker WMA. Map 1 Goldeneye: Deuel County, 17 acres, 1S, 3W of Big Springs. BLG, CCF, CRP, LMB, YEP. South Platte NRD area. It is unlawful to possess fish not taken from refuge waters. No camping. Electric motor and non-powered boats allowed. Refuge open sunrise to sunset. Aquatic vegetation hampers summer fishing. Home Valley Lake: Cherry County, 220 acres, 30N, 2½E, 1N of Hyannis. BLG, CAP, CRP, LMB, WAE, YEP. Part of the Cottonwood-Steverson WMA. Boats restricted to 5 mph (no wake). Portage from Cottonwood- Steverson Lake. Snowmobiles and ATVs allowed on ice. Access to N side of lake via private land, permission required. Map 10 Hudson Lake: Cherry County, 160 acres, 15S, 8W, 1N of Valentine. BBH, BLG, GSF, LMB, YEP. Private lake, open to public for daytime ice-fishing only December through February. Largemouth bass daily bag limit is one, which must be over 21 inches in length. Map 15 Ice House Ponds: Dawes County, 6 acres in three ponds, Fort Robinson SP. BLG, CCF, LMB. Northern pike daily bag limit is 10, with no more than one over 34 inches in length. Waters within 150 feet of dam closed to fishing from sunset to sunrise March 1-April 30. Camping.
