26 WHAT IS THE UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY? » There are endless ways to develop a natural playscape; including everything from a simple grouping of rocks, to landscapes of interesting plants, to an elaborate series of nets and log climbers nestled into the woods. Ask yourself what unique features you want included in your playscape. » There is no wrong approach and each natural playscape will be unique according to the location, your vision, the budget, and timeline. » Here is where you will create the concept to match your vision. Draw it out! CONCEPT Time to Sketch! INSPIRATION PLAN DESIGN MANAGE EXAMPLES design THINK LIKE A KID Once a vision has been defined, the fun of making it a reality can begin. One of the easiest ways to start is to ask yourself: "What did I do outside when I was a kid?" Natural playscapes can be as simple as providing a natural space and allowing a child to take it from there, or it can be so much more!
