TUNNELS
A change of perspective within
play can be inviting. Climbing high
is not the only way to get a spatial
experience. Tunnels are also a
way a child can explore from a
different vantage point. From open
and airy passages made of willows
arched and tied to placed sewer
piping, can engage a child at their
own level of courage and curiosity.
Tunnels were instrumental in the
Two Rivers SRA design as a way
to engage the berm. Any site can
make room for a tunnel in play.
